This service is being held mid-week to be available to anyone for whom the Christmas weekends are taken over by work obligations or the myriad of other committments that pulls us from Sunday mornings.
The service is entitled "Shall I Rejoice Again?"
The focus and theme of the Service is how to celebrate Christmas when the joy of the Season has turned to sorrow after a personal loss or defeat.
Communion shall be offered during the service.
God’s Army Ministry, an independent church started seven years ago in Perth Amboy, focused on a ministry of connecting people in need with social services and, as needed, direct aid, are now in operation here at First Presbyterian Church. Their worship, contemporary in style and Spirit-led in tradition, happens at 2pm each Sunday, in the sanctuary. They started here on July 1 of this year.
Until they rebuild, St Cyril and St Methodius Polish Catholic Church worship in our church each Sunday at noon.
